However, the registration and application deadline is only one month away for November 2021 starts. Schools are encouraged to act now to secure places for their workforce. Published 01/07/21National Professional Qualification (NPQ) scholarships are available to state-funded schools. Schools are encouraged to act now to secure places for their workforce with scholarship funding available for the next three years (from autumn 2021 and subject to continued availability). Cohorts of each programme will commence each autumn and spring term.

Published 29/06/21In recognition of the challenging initial teacher training and induction newly qualified teachers (NQTs) have experienced, all state-funded schools that currently have an NQT (academic year 2020-21) who is due to complete induction in summer 2021 will have access to a one-off payment to further support. Schools in Bradford and the surrounding region will receive £1,200 per NQT. The DfE's full announcement is provided below.
