The National Centre for Excellence in Language Pedagogy (NCELP) is offering free training to schools to support research-informed French, German and Spanish teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 for higher uptake and greater success at GCSE.
This programme is for teachers of maths (all phases from Early Years to Post-16) who have existing commitments and responsibility for designing, leading and evaluating maths teacher professional development, and the potential to develop further.

The Science Learning Partnership is offering an extensive range of science CPD for schools in North and West Yorkshire with funding available for eligible schools.
Ofsted has published the first review in a new series looking at what makes for high-quality education in different subjects across the curriculum. On the 29th April 2021, Ofsted's report on science was published. A summary of its finding is available here.
The Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed funding will be available to the Nuffield Foundation to deliver the Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) for reception children in the academic year 2021/22. If you would like to be informed once registration is open (currently expected to be May 2021) please register your interest.
The Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) will be statutory in schools from September 2021. The RBA provides a snapshot of where pupils are when they arrive at school. It will provide a starting point to measure the progress schools make with their pupils between reception and the end of primary school. This will allow the department to take better account of the variations schools will experience in pupils’ starting points. This is especially important in 2021, when COVID-19 will have affected children’s lives in very different ways.

Recently, we have confirmed that we will be a delivery partner to Ambition Institute for the full suite of NPQs. We are hoping to commence application processes in the next few weeks, although this is subject to DfE processes relating to their contracting of lead providers.
