History Network (secondary) with the Historical Association

This event will take place between 3:30pm and 5:00pm on 23/06/2022

This is primarily for secondary History subject leaders but History teachers are welcome to attend.

Worried about Ofsted? Looking for someone who teaches the same exam specification as you? Want to share ideas on how to ensure your curriculum is diverse and representative?

Join us for three network meetings led by Ruth Lingard, a consultant for the Historical Association.

Ruth is an experienced Head of History, a PGCE History Tutor at the University of York and also runs the YorkClio network for History teachers and keen History students across the York area.

This network will run over three 90 minutes sessions. The first session will allow you to chat about the strengths of your subject leadership and identify areas you wish to develop. The second and third sessions will be guided by your requirements but could include curriculum development at KS3/4 and 5, working with SLT or preparing for an Ofsted 'deep dive'.

The sessions will run via Zoom on:

Thursday 17th Feb at 3.30pm

Tuesday 5th April at 3.30pm

Thursday 23rd June at 3.30pm

THIS EVENT IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO SCHOOL AS BRADFORD TEACHING SCHOOL HUB WILL FUND THE FACILITATION. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ATTEND THE EVENT ONCE YOU BOOK. NON-ATTENDANCE OR CANCELLATION WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE EVENT  WILL RESULT IN A £25 CHARGE PER PARTICIPANT.
